The Garstang Collection

£4.00

On September 7th 1901 Francis Walmsley, always known as Frank, was born to Annie and James Walmsley, in a small cottage at the end of Castle Lane in Garstang.  He displayed an early talent for painting and drawing and produced a significant collection of pictures, mostly of his beloved home town of Garstang.  His artwork was, and still is, highly valued and can now be found in many public buildings and homes in and around the area.  This book contains some of his drawings and paintings of Garstang, and was produced by his daughter, Pruw.  A lovely reminder of Garstang in times past.
